The TapID app is now on the App Store and Google Play
TapID's mobile app is live for iPhone and Android. Manage your profile, leads, cards and team from your pocket. Here is what it does and how to get it.
Short version: the TapID app is now live on both stores. Download it for iPhone or get it on Google Play, sign in with your TapID account, and your whole networking toolkit moves into your pocket.
Your TapID has always worked without any app; that is the point of it. The person you meet taps your card and sees your profile in their browser, nothing to install. The app is for you, the owner, and it makes running your networking noticeably faster.
What can you do in the TapID app?
Everything you can do at your desk, in the thirty seconds after a handshake:
- Edit your profile on the spot. New role, new number, new photo. Your card updates everywhere the moment you save.
- Work your leads. Everyone who shared their details through your card sits in your Leads inbox with notes, tags and reminders, so the follow-up happens while the conversation is still warm.
- Scan paper cards. Someone hands you an old-style card? Photograph it and the app reads the details into a lead beside everyone who tapped you.
- Manage your cards. See every TapID you own, check your tap counts, and point each card where you want it to go.
- Run your team. Owners can invite members and keep the whole team's networking in one workspace.
Does the person I meet need the app?
No, and they never will. A tap or a QR scan opens your live profile in any phone browser, iPhone or Android. The app is purely your control room. That difference matters at a busy event: there is zero friction for the person you have just met.
How do I get started?
If you already have a TapID, install the app and log in with your existing account. Everything you set up on the web is already there.
New to TapID? Start with a free account, or pick your card in the shop and have your profile live before the card even arrives. If you want the full picture of what a smart card can do that paper cannot, our guide to digital business cards in Sri Lanka is the place to start.
Which phones does the app support?
The app runs on iOS and modern Android phones. Receiving a tap works on any NFC-enabled phone, which is effectively every phone sold in the last several years; here is how the iPhone side works if you are curious.
One tap. Every connection kept. And now, managed from anywhere.
